Contemporary End Table Handmade in Maple

This contemporary end table is part of the Pedestal Table Series which I view as a series of sketches.  This piece refers back to Pedestal Table #5 which introduced the sweeping poetry of the bent stretchers.  This table uses steam bent curves as compared to the bent laminations of table #5.  The difference is subtle but the lack of the glue line allows me to approach the shaping and faceting of the curves in a different way
