The corner piece series is an attempt to create a form that is essential to an often neglected part of the room- the corner. The function of this corner sculpture is more visual but the concrete surface is happy to accommodate a small object or an arrangement of flowers. The intended location of this piece does not mean that I have abandoned my responsibility to compose in the round. The back of the piece is dynamic in it own right as I have bleached the ash components to visually tie into the white cast concrete core.
