Dynamic Contemporary Bench handmade by The Designer

The White Cast Bench was the first composition that I had designed to take advantage of the purity of the white portland cement casting.  The material suggested a pairing with Ash which is a textured wood with a similar color.  The two materials combine forces to define a form that has concrete legs that stand on delicate feet and a wood seat that has the movement of three shifting layers.   This approach to adding movement to the components that make up a piece defines my approach to structure and decoration.
